Philanthropic Focus

Alpha Gamma Delta’s philanthropic focus is Fighting Hunger. Food insecurity affects every race, age and community, including the communities where we are placed. That is why we want to be a part of the solution. Partnering with national and local organizations, we are able to make an impact on our communities. We are committed to contributing to the world’s work as our Purpose calls us to do. As a sisterhood, we work together to make a greater impact.

Our impact is enhanced through fundraising for the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation. They provide fighting hunger grants to various organizations that are doing their part in their local community to fight hunger. Campus Involvement

The sisters of the Theta Delta chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta are involved in a wide variety of ways around our campus! We participate in many different intramural sports. Our sisters also work on-campus as tour guides, resident assistants, Orientation Leaders, and Campus Ambassadors as well as holding leadership positions in a variety of different clubs and organizations including Best Buddies, Rho Tau, Order of Omega Greek Honor society, and The Corps of Cadets. Throughout the year we hold many philanthropy events and participate in local community service! Some of our events include Mac & Cheese with AGD, Alpha Gam Jam, and our Philanthropy Week, Pearl Cup! Some recent community service opportunities we have done is volunteering at Blackburn Elementary once a month where they host a food drive, and given some helping hands to Community Helping Place, a social service organization. We plan to continue doing as much as we can for our campus and community we love so dearly, and hopefully expand our efforts even further in the future!
